Delhi Delicious is a Semi Franchise Take-Away company
that sells Samoosas and Pies. The Head office Factory is based in
Lenasia and currently 28 outlets are in operation around Gauteng Province and
one each in Klerksdorp (North West Province), Witbank (Mpumalanga) and Newcastle (KwaZulu Natal).
The tremendous success they have enjoyed has opened the doors for nationwide expansion.
The objective of the system developed for this company is
as follows:
To determine stock requirements at outlets
Plan production at factory for all outlets
Manage production
Prepare Stock Replenishment Schedule for each
Outlet
Print Invoice to accompany the Outlet Replenishments
Dialup outlet and automatically update stock
at the outlet with the Replenishments dispatched
Point-of-sale system with a Touch Screen interface at the outlets
Automatic backing up of data at day end at outlet
and transmission of the data to the factory
At factory, reconciling of the daily takings
against the banked amount and the reconciling of stock
Debtors, Creditors and Sales Analysis modules
Currently, the factory and Thirty of the outlets
have been computerized and linked up to the Head Office. In
the next few months, the one remaining outlets would be computerized
and linked up to the Head office. Thereafter, each new store
would be fully computerized before it is opened for business.
