Transtel
RapidSoft has over the years nurtured an extremely
successful business relationship with Transtel. The pinnacle
of this relationship is the Cellmate system that was designed
to manage the employee's cellular accounts of the entire Transnet
group. After developing the CellMate system, RapidSoft was presented
with the opportunity of providing Transtel with the complete
outsourcing for the system which they gladly accepted.
RapidSoft was instrumental in a campaign called
'Getting to know you' carried out by the marketing division
of Fedsure. RapidSoft was responsible for not only capturing
approximately 20,000 survey forms but also restructuring the
information collected into a format that was acceptable to the
marketing division's database (Oracle). This made the data more
tangible and allowed better manipulation of the data for statistical
purposes. In 1999 Fedsure took over Norwich Life, due to the
volatile state created by the takeover a large scale campaign
involving about 50,000 employees was undertaken to update personal
information. The impressive results provided by RapidSoft in
the first campaign lead them to be re-commissioned when this
survey was carried out.
Airtime Africa Corporate
RapidSoft provided outsourcing
services to a company called, Airtime Africa Corporate, using
the GSM management System. AAC has adondo unites distributed
for use as public phones. RapidSoft regularly monitors the bank
account and loads the requested airtime onto the appropriate
adondo unit. Management reports are provided regularly to help
AAC streamline business, analyze their productivity and locate
their phone units in the most lucrative areas.
