The main function was to bill all the Transtel
clients for the usage of the satellite airtime, the various
services offered and usage of the communication equipment. The
system is designed to interface with various satellite networks
such as DAMA, Netrix, Digitalk (Standard, leased-line &
callbacks), InMarSat, Iridium, etc. The call data records supplied
by these networks are converted into billing information for
the clients. It has the following functional aspects included

This system is being used by Transtel at their
Krugersdorp Hub and African Communications Consultants (Station
Africa) at their Pretoria site.
